Hello,
We plan to expand our multi-sector planning functionality in future versions of SkyDemon. If you think that improving the fuel selection settings so that you can tell SkyDemon you won't be adding fuel at a landing stop is the next thing we should work on, here is a good place to post. How do you think it should work?

Perhaps in the pop-up which allows you to specify how much fuel you will start with, there should be an option to select the fuel remaining from the previous sector?

Hi Tim,
right now I would prefer to enter the fuel amount during planing at the first leg and simply continue planing the following legs with the calculated amount deducting the prior leg amounts. While in planing mode, I could "overwrite" a specific leg calculated amount, if I have the inanition to refill at a specific landing.
During planing mode SD could also warn if the amount + a 30min reserve would not be sufficient for the current leg and suggest a refill or at least provide a respective waring.

In flight mode, a simple "update" popup for any leg, even the first, would be great to update the current state of the rule amount. SD could then forward calculate for the rest of the legs like during planing mode.

If you want to add a topic, SD could also provide the fuel costs at that specific leg (as you are using the cost field anyway for calculation purposes, you have that data anyway already.
Within the popup, you also could request fuel price updates at respective location, so the general SD fuel price data would automatically be filled and updated, as well the cost calculation could be refined.

Thanks

I second that. As a default, assume no additional fuel is taken on at a Point of Landing. The user can then easily change the fuel on board from the calculated amount, in which case the updated amount will be carried forward for all successive legs. Ditto with EOBT and successive ETAs.
